Refund policy

Last updated: 2 September 2026

This policy forms part of the Terms and conditions of Ready to Teach Spanish, a service provided by Francisco Javier Sibaja Gálvez Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU.

For any refund request, write to hola@readytoteachspanish.co.uk from the email address you subscribed with.

1. Your first purchase

Ready to Teach Spanish is digital content that you get access to immediately.

The law gives you fourteen days to cancel a purchase of digital content, but that right is lost once delivery of the content begins with your express consent. That is why, before you pay, you are asked to tick a box consenting to immediate access and acknowledging that you lose the right to cancel.

If you tick that box and complete the payment, access opens at once and the purchase is not refundable simply because you change your mind.

Before you pay you can open a complete lesson, without registering and without giving any details, so you can see exactly what you are buying.

2. Renewals

Here we go further than the law requires.

Although we are not obliged to, if you did not want the subscription to renew and the charge has already been taken, we will refund the renewal in full if you write to us within fourteen days of the charge, provided you have not made significant use of the service during that new period.

When we process the refund, access ends.

We email you before every renewal, and you can cancel at any time from My account so that the charge is never taken.

3. If the service fails

Separately from all of the above, UK consumer law protects you if digital content is not as it should be: if it does not match its description, if it is not of satisfactory quality, or if it is not fit for its purpose.

If the service does not work as it should, write to us and we will fix it. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a reduction in price or to a refund, in full or in part depending on the case.

That includes, for example, access to the lessons not working for a prolonged period.

4. If we cancel

If we cancel your account without good reason, we will refund the unused part of the period.

If the cancellation is due to a serious breach on your part —for example, redistributing the materials or giving access to people outside your school— there will be no refund.

5. How to ask for a refund

Write to hola@readytoteachspanish.co.uk giving:

  • the email address on your account;
  • the date of the charge;
  • the reason for the request.

We reply within five working days at the most. Refunds are paid to the same payment method used for the purchase and usually take five to ten working days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

6. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our answer, write to us again and we will look at it personally. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by this policy.
